Moonlight Great sword is an amazing weapon due to the fact that you only have to buff intelligence to really soft cap its dmg while pretty much every other weapon in the game will not be able to soft cap so easily. Even with its split dmg, thanks to its high AR it makes it not too big of a deal, especially as Magic is an amazing offensive element.

Best end game greatsword? Wolf knight's, black knight's, Gaels and the basterd sword are some nice ones. Hollowslayer got that swagger R1 moveset tho, best one IMO.
