The sand was soft and perfect and extended out for over 150ft from the shore. No water shoes needed at this beach. There were rolling waves and not much undertow. There were occasional waves large enough to body surf. I brought my own mask/fins and snorkel and spent close to 2 hours checking out the reef and rocks.
